About Meri Pehchan — Menstrual Cups awareness and free distribution.
Launched in July 2020, ‘Meri Pehchan’ is a campaign that engages and educates women living in Bastis about menstrual health, and women’s hygiene. 9000+ women have been helped to switch from sanitary/cloth napkins to menstrual cups which is — eco-friendly, reusable, money-saving, comfortable, leak-free, lasts 6-8 years and hassle-free alternative to sanitary napkins/cloth pads. By cupverting, these didis have eliminated non-biodegradable sanitary napkins waste from the landfills, which take 500-600 years to degrade.
The support of Gynaecology and Obstetrics doctors and Asha Didis have boosted the morale of all Pure Hearts volunteers and contributors to continue this journey to be the change and making Gurugram NCR Pad Free.
